We are also a 16 minute walk from two fabulous wedding venues, the Chateau de la Mothe and the Chateau saint Privat-des-Pres. 

For those looking for a more active time there are walks and cycle routes in the area, Laude golf course is 12 km away. Canoeing is available on the lake of La Jemaye, 14km away with a beach, forest walks, cafes and 2 restaurant's.

In Aubeterre-sur-dronne you can canoe on the river Dronne, also with a beach, bar and restaurant by the river and more restaurant's and bars in the village centre, 9.1km away.

If you are interested in old buildings, you can also visit the underground troglodyte church in Aubeterre, dug into the cliff in the 12th century 

Visit the castles of Bourdeilles, 1 medieval and 1 renaissance, 31 km away.

The nearest airport is Bergerac, 60 km away, a 1-hour drive, or Bordeaux, 103 km away, a 1 hour 30 minutes drive and Limoges, 128 km a 2 hour drive.

The Barn Gite

The ground floor accommodation consists of a lounge area with 2 sofas, 1 of which is a sofa bed, a flat screen TV, French/English channels and a DVD player, a dining area with table and chairs, a kitchen area equipped with an oven and induction hob, a dishwasher, a freezer, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, an iron and an ironing board. a bathroom with a shower cubicle, WC, basin and washing machine.

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, the front bedroom has a large double bed and an en-suite bathroom, with a shower cubicle/bath, toilet and sink. The rear bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined to make a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and sink.

Outside there is a terrace with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue and access to the swimming pool of 10 x 5 m.

The Lodge Gite

The accommodation on the ground floor consists of a lounge area with 1 sofa this being a sofa bed, flat screen smart TV, French/English channels, and DVD player, a dining area with table and chairs, a kitchen area equipped with an oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, iron and ironing board. 

On the first floor is a bedroom, with a large double bed and a bathroom, with a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin and a washing machine. 

Outside there is a table, chairs, parasol and BBQ and access to the 3.6m diameter swimming pool.
