Situated in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne in south-west France, a region renowned for its wine and culinary specialities, La Vieille Grange is set off a quiet country lane, with a large garden, free off-road parking, a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.

The ground floor accommodation consists of a lounge area with 2 sofas, 1 of which is a sofa bed, a flat screen TV, French/English channels, a log fire and a DVD player, a dining area with table and chairs, a kitchen area equipped with an oven and induction hob, a dishwasher, a freezer, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, an iron and an ironing board. a bathroom with a shower cubicle, WC, basin and washing machine.

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, the front bedroom has a large double bed and an en-suite bathroom, with a shower cubicle/bath, toilet and sink. The rear bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined to make a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and sink.

Outside there is a terrace with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue and access to the HEATED swimming pool of 10 x 5 m (May and September other periods on request at an additional cost).

For those looking for a more active time there are walks and cycle routes in the area, Laude golf course is 12km away. Canoeing is available on the lake of La Jemaye, 14km away with a beach, forest walks, cafes and a restaurant or in Aubeterre-sur-dronne where you can canoe on the river Dronne, also with a beach, bar and restaurant, 9.1km away.

If you are interested in old buildings, you can also visit the underground troglodyte church in Aubeterre, dug into the cliff in the 12th century or visit the castles of Bourdeilles, 1 medieval and 1 renaissance, 31 km away.
